Question for you...
What if your child could learn to play their favorite songs on the piano?
And have fun doing it? Would you be interested?
KEEP TALKING...Children from ages 5-9 are hungry to learn about their world and still eager to please their teachers.
When we combine this enthusiasm for knowledge with a fun learning environment, we create little musicians who thrive at the piano.
You're in the right place if:
-
Your child wants to learn to play piano.
-
Your child is interested in music - singing, dancing and/or drumming up a storm.
-
(Bonus but definitely not required) - They love to watch tutorials online to learn new things, like how to play a song, build with Legos, or figure out a video game.
If this sounds like your child...
It's not just about playing the piano...
If your child is eager to learn piano,
I have something for you...

Now Enrolling for April-June Session
Here's what one of my families said about Virtual Piano Prodigies
"Sarah teaches both my 7-year old daughter and 11-year old son and I love how much progress they have both made with Sarah as their teacher. Sarah engages both of my kids in different ways--matching her teaching style to their needs and interests. She allows my son to pick popular music that he enjoys and that keeps him wanting to play piano. My daughter started piano with Sarah and we are all amazed at how far she has come. We started with in-person lessons and then switched to online. I've been extremely impressed with how Sarah managed the online lessons and how she was able to teach a beginning student online. I strongly recommend Sarah as a piano teacher."

Here's how it all breaks down...
Live (Remote) Group Classes
👉 Choose the day and time that works for your family from four options.
👉 Small group size: no more than five kids per class.
👉 This weekly class keeps students motivated! They know that they can get help from a teacher if they're stuck or frustrated AND they prepare better when expected to play in front of their peers.
👉 Group classes are also the perfect length - 30 minutes. Just long enough for every student to play for me, get some help on their song(s), and do an activity or game together.
24-7 Access to Video Lessons
👉 The video lessons are short, so watching them is a breeze even for the wiggliest kids.
👉 Includes video lessons for every song in Piano Safari Level 1.
👉 The performance videos for every song help the student hear what the song should sound like while they learn it.
👉 Performance videos for every rote and reading piece in Piano Safari Level 1.
👉 Lesson videos for the flashcards in Piano Safari Level 1.
Participation in Studio Challenges
Some challenges we've run in the past include practicing and composition, with prizes awarded to the kids who complete the Challenge!
Studio Recitals
For the local kids, we offer the opportunity to participate in several studio recitals each year (Halloween, Christmas, Spring).
Students who don't live in the Rochester NY area can participate in two online recitals each year.

Cancellation Policy
The student/parent may cancel enrollment in group class for a full refund up to 24 hours before the first group class. No partial refunds will be given during the semester.
There are no makeup classes.
Students who miss two live group classes in a row with no communication may be removed from the class.
Look, I'm a mom too. We're busy. Our kids are busy! And I have no idea what his teacher told him to do, what kind of ice skates to buy, or what kind of gummy bears the other kids have in their lunch.
But I know kids, and I know piano.
They want to play! They want to have fun and make some music. So that's exactly what we're going to do.
And if they don't remember how to play something, I got you covered! Every song has a pre-recorded lesson video so you can watch it any time during the week.
I have everything they need: fun songs within their abilities, and lots of video resources so they never have to stop learning.
Best of all, a friendly, encouraging group environment every week in the live class.
More kind words...
"Sarah is truly a wonderful piano teacher! She loves what she does, (that is obvious) and she does a great job teaching. She is always on time (with lessons in person and virtual), she always has a big smile on her face with an uplifting personality. She is professional, gives feedback to me about my son's lessons afterwards which I truly appreciate! She does fun games to switch up lessons and once in awhile rewards for my son's good lessons! I highly recommend Sarah for a piano teacher to anyone and everyone!"
