Learning an instrument can be fun if you have the right teacher!

In 2015 I quit my day job in pharmacy to do what I love: teach and play piano! I teach out of my home in Penfield, NY with my three fluffy assistants: Casper, Mocha and Ninja (pictured, top to bottom).

I am a member of the Rochester Piano Teacher’s Guild. Being a part of this organization means I have the opportunity to continually learn and improve my teaching. I also spent two years as the President elect of the Summit County chapter of the Ohio Music Teachers Association (OMTA), and two years as Vice-President of the same organization.

Originally from Western New York, I’ve lived in Ohio, Iowa, and Missouri, before moving back to the Rochester area in 2019. My piano teachers have included Phyllis East and Mary Cobb at SUNY Fredonia. I recently finished my Bachelors in piano performance at the University of Akron.

I also hold a Bachelors in Music Performance from SUNY Fredonia and a Masters in Music Performance from BSGU, both in the oboe.

My husband and I have a four year old boy named William and a little baby named Charlotte.
